  • Mole removal?

A true mole (nevus) cannot be eliminated with garlic nor with tea tree oil. Most moles are benign growths and don’t need removal unless they’re suspicious clinically. All that said, surgical excision can be done with very little scarring. Hope the above is helpful. J. Peraza, MD READ MORE

  • Skin redness and inflammation?

Hi, Hard to say because many possibilities come to mind…if you get better in Florida and worse in northern climates, you may have a condition called keratosis pilaris, which is dry, itchy, rough skin triggered by lowered humidity environments and over-soaping. You may want to start with a good moisturizer like Cetaphil lotion and soaping only when necessary, not as matter of course every time you shower….a mild soap like Dove Bar soap or cetaphil soap is also recommended. Hope the above measures help! J. Peraza, MD READ MORE
