A skilled chiropractor, Dr. Telfer-Ramales works with patients at her private practice - Health With Hope Chiropractic - in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Incredibly passionate about helping those patients whose voices haven't been heard to give them another chance at success, she is ready to show that "chiropractic" means more than cracking backs. Through the use of chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic modalities, and lifestyle changes, she looks forward to helping patients become their healthiest self.
Originally from Port Huron, Michigan, Dr. Telfer-Ramales spent her weekends in Kalamazoo to visit her husband while obtaining her Ultrasound degree from Grand Valley State University. That’s when she first fell in love with the Kalamazoo area, so she decided to open her chiropractic practice there.
Living with multiple autoimmune conditions and finding no solutions from the various doctors she visited, she realized she wanted to be part of the solution for people suffering from similar issues. After spending three years working in hospitals and vein clinics, she started her chiropractic schooling at National University of Health Sciences for her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Lombard, Illinois.
Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that primarily deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor performs chiropractic adjustments, addresses health concerns, and provides stress relieving techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, fatigue and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.
