Dr. Messamore is a board eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. He earned his undergraduate, graduate and medical degrees at the University of Kansas.
Dr. Messamore completed his residency training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita and returned to Kansas City once again to complete his fellowship training in Sports Medicine with the University of Kansas Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship and enjoyed the experience of working with athletes on his favorite teams, the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Will is a Jayhawk through and through, born and raised in Wichita and graduate of Wichita Collegiate School. Dr. Messamore completed his PhD research in Neurophysiology and has had numerous publications associated with that research as well as extensive orthopaedic research throughout residency and fellowship.
Dr. Messamore enjoys working with athletes at all levels from aspiring professionals to weekend warriors. Whether you need to get back to work or get back on the field, he believes in working with patients and developing a treatment plan that meets their needs and goals.
He maintains memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Kansas Medical Society, and the Medical Society of Sedgwick County.
