Dr. Prado has been working in the field of nutrition for the past 7 years and has been practicing holistic health for the last several years.

“I teach others how to regain optimal health through nutrition & lifestyle techniques. This includes the use of herbal remedies, homeopathy, nutrition, stress reduction, supplementation, & lifestyle adjustments. I address the root cause of illness by looking at the body as a whole and addressing the whole system, not just one component. I do not treat symptoms to disguise the condition, but rather address the imbalances in the body to regain optimal health and wellness!” expressed Dr. Prado.

Her own health challenges have led her to study naturopathic medicine so that she could uncover the root cause of her own illness and help others do the same. She has naturally treated many of her own conditions which has enabled her to connect and empathize with the people she sees.

In regards to her educational background, she  graduated with her Traditional Doctor of Naturopathy and Holistic Medicine from the Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine.

The practice of naturopathic medicine includes modern and traditional, scientific, and empirical methods. Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care profession, emphasizing prevention, assessment, and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals’ inherent self-healing process. Naturopathic doctors manage and seek to prevent acute and chronic illnesses to restore and establish optimal health.
