A dedicated pediatric dentist, Dr. Parker has helped hundreds of children in Southfield, Michigan maintain their healthy smiles for nearly 30 years. She believes that children should see a pediatric dentist — and is committed to caring for children’s teeth in a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment.

Academically, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University in 1982, after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. She received her Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry and Master of Science degree from the University of Detroit in 1984.

Recognized as a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Parker maintains a high standard of excellence and provides all of her patients with only the highest quality pediatric care. She also holds numerous local, state and national certifications, including  the Northeast Regional Board since 1982, and the Specialty Board for Pediatric Dentistry in the State of Michigan since 1984.

On a professional level, she is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (Spokesperson), and the Wolverine Dental Society.

In addition to her work as a pediatric dentist at her private practice, Dr. Parker has also served as an attending dentist at Children’s Hospital of Michigan for over 33 years, where she also held the title of Clinical Instructor of Dental Residents until 2004, when she was appointed to the Michigan Board of Dentistry by former Michigan Governor Jennifer Grandholm.
