Counselor/Therapist
333 N Wilmot Rd, Suite 340 Tucson AZ, 85711About
I have always been curious about how people think and communicate, which led to pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology and German Studies at the University of Arizona. After recognizing my passion of supporting others, I obtained my Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Arizona with a specialization in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. With my Masters, I became a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Throughout my life, I have worked with clients and patients from a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and challenges in crisis, residential, in-patient hospitals, and outpatient settings.
My approach to counseling is non-judgmental, inclusive, and strengths based. My ultimate goal as a counselor is for my clients to implement the changes that allow them to not just learn and grow, but to thrive. All while, I am cheering them on as they hit their next major milestone in counseling. In sessions, I incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches depending on what is the best fit for the situation, experience, and client. Often, leaning toward the incorporation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, SMART Recovery, and Mindfulness.
