Steven C. Tizio, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a committed colorectal surgeon tending to patients at Jersey Shore Advanced Surgical Associates in Neptune and Red Bank, New Jersey. In regards to his educational background, he earned a Bachelor of Arts at Princeton University in 1998. He has a Master of Science in chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University. In 2006, he obtained his medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine and has become a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society.. He then went on to complete his residency in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2013 where he was a Clinical Fellow of the Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery with the Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, TX in 2014.
