Get to know Family Practitioner, Dr. Allison L. Parker-Fahey, who currently serves patients in Rockville, Maryland

A board-certified family practitioner, Dr. Parker-Fahey welcomes patients at Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in Rockville, Maryland. She is licensed to practice in the states of Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. “I joined the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group because I wanted to work in a multi-specialty practice with physicians who share my passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care”, states Dr. Parker-Fahey. 

Dr. Parker-Fahey received her medical degree in 2013 from St. George's University School of Medicine in St. George's, Grenada. She served her family medicine residency at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland (2013 - 2016).

Subsequent to her training, Dr. Parker-Fahey received board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family medicine (ABFM). The American Board of Family Medicine is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty within primary care that provides continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body. The specialist, who is usually a primary care physician, is named a family physician.

On a more personal note, Dr. Parker-Fahey speaks Spanish in addition to English.
