A board-eligible neurosurgeon, Dr. Davies is a part of the team of professionals at Orthopaedic Associates of Duluth. He sees patients at the offices in Duluth and Hibbing Clinic, as well as Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Bringing his expertise to the Northland, his specialities include general neurosurgery, spine surgery, spinal deformity and spinal oncology, pain management, as well as minimally invasive SI-joint fusion, cervical disc replacement and lumbar disc replacement.

“I get to see my patients in their most humbling of circumstance and come up with a solution for them to help fix their pain” stated Dr. Davies. His hospital affiliations include Lakewalk Surgery Center, St Luke’s Hospital, Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital Grand Rapids and Fairview Range Medical Center Hibbing.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Davies received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine while earning AOA honors. He then went on to perform his residency within the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and also trained at Parkland Hospital, UTSW, the North Texas VA, and Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Thereafter, he served as a neurological surgery CAST Spine Fellow in spinal deformity and spinal oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, as well as received additional training and certification in SI joint fusion through SI-Fuse/SI-Bone, cervical disc replacement through Mobi-C and lumbar disc replacement through Activ-L.

In association with various professional affiliations, Dr. Davies is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the College of Neurological Surgeons, the Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
