Dr. Ryan Shilian practices Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology care in Encino, CA.
Dr. Shilian is Board Certified in pediatric and adult allergy/clinical immunology and internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of California Los Angeles before moving to the Bay Area for four years to attend medical school at Touro University. His internal medicine residency was completed at the University Hospitals in Cleveland where he served as chief resident. He spent two additional years specializing in pediatric and adult allergy and clinical immunology at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Shilian has presented at several national conferences, has several peer-reviewed publications and research and has received international recognition. He is passionate about teaching and has mentored both medical students and residents.
Dr. Shilian treats environmental, food, medication and stinging insect allergies; asthma; immunodeficiency/recurrent infections; nasal polyps; eczema; contact dermatitis; hives; angioedema; anaphylaxis; mast cell disorders; eosinophilic esophagitis and adverse reactions to vaccinations.
Having recently returned to California, Dr. Shilian lives in the San Fernando Valley area with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys travel, exercise, reading, and being outdoors with his family.
