Get to know Internist Dr. Nayma Casamayor, who serves patients in Hialeah, Florida.

Recognized as a caring and compassionate internist, Dr. Casamayor works with patients at the Mount Sinai Emergency Center and Primary & Specialty Care Hialeah, an affiliate of the Mount Sinai Medical Center.

In regards to her educational background, Dr. Casamayor earned her medical degree at Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Moreover, she holds procedure certification in central line insertion, paracentesis, and arterial blood gas procedures (ABG). She has presented on topics including lymphoma, chronic pain, and hemophilia patients.
