He also attended the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM), graduating with a Doctor of Osteopathic and Manipulative Medicine degree. He then completed his residency training in Family Medicine and Fellowship training in Primary care sports medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital, in Houston Texas.

 

Dr. Nnabuife is dual board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice. While in fellowship, he provided on-field coverage for Rice University and Prairie View A & M Universities Men’s and Women’s basketball and women’s soccer teams. Coverage for various marathons and sporting events. Dr. Nnabuife has a particular interest in the care of children, and teenage athletes that have outgrown their traditional pediatrician. Active adults, and older adults, providing specialized care of sports injuries, concussion management, and orthopedic conditions, like fracture and sprain management,  splinting and casting with expertise in ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal joint injections, for arthritic patients, Hyaluronic Acid joint injections and platelet-rich plasma injections for chronic tendinopathies. He also manages acute and chronic medical conditions, Botox injections, Obesity Management, Workers Comp, Department of Transportation, Medical examination, pre-employment physical examination, Osteopathic Manipulative Techniques, and preventive care.

Dr. Nnabuife emphasizes a holistic approach to the treatment and care, of his patients. He is trained to partner with and listen to his patients with the goal of helping them get healthy and stay well.
