Marina is a dedicated nurse currently serving patients at Mercy Clinic in Springfield, Missouri. With a strong background in healthcare, her primary focus is to provide excellent patient care, ensuring they receive the highest quality of treatment and support. Holding an active nursing license, she follows a systematic approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of education and active learning. She and her patients work together as a team, sharing a common goal of achieving optimal health outcomes.

Before embarking on her professional journey, she completed her graduate studies and earned a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Her expertise in vascular surgery allows her to address specific conditions and concerns related to the vascular system.

An expert in her field, she is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), which is an independent, non-profit certifying body whose purpose is to provide a valid and reliable program for the evaluation of individuals wishing to enter, continue, and/or advance in the NP profession through the certification process. 

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. RNs fulfill a variety of job duties. In addition to their primary role in treating and caring for patients, their responsibilities also include educating patients and the public about a variety of medical conditions, as well as providing emotional support and advice to the families of their patients. Other RN job functions include leadership, research, performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results, operating medical equipment, administering medications, recording patients’ symptoms and medical histories, and assisting with patient rehabilitation and follow-up.
