Her journey in medicine began when she earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Degree from The Aga Khan University in Pakistan in 2014. Dr. Mumtaz subsequently completed her internship in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2018.
