Get to know Family Physician Dr. Gajendra Maharjan, who serves patients in Chicago, Illinois.

With a passion for serving the underserved communities, he is currently affiliated with MD at Home, working as a house call physician in the Chicago area. 

MD at Home provides home care, home medical doctors, and housecall physicians to patients in need with a focus on preventing readmissions during the transition from an acute care setting to the home. For over 20 years, they have served as the premier healthcare resource for primary care and geriatric medicine for homebound patients in the Chicagoland area.

A United States International Medical Graduate, Dr. Maharjan obtained his medical degree from the St. James School of Medicine in 2020. He aspires to advance his career in primary care by joining a family medicine residency program.

Committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, he is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Outside of work, Dr. Maharjan enjoys exploring new destinations, relaxing on beaches during his vacations, hiking, and photography. He is fluent in both English and Hindi.
