Leading Ophthalmologist Dr. Margaret Hubbell Brings Expertise to Texas

A skilled ophthalmologist, Dr. Hubbell is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to patients at Collom & Carney Clinic in Texarkana, Texas. With a strong educational background and a passion for ophthalmology, she offers a comprehensive range of services to address various eye conditions and disorders.

Pertaining to her educational pursuits, she earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2016. She then went on to complete her internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She further honed her expertise through a cornea fellowship at the Pacific ClearVision Institute, and is currently eligible for the American Board of Ophthalmology certification.

At the Department of Ophthalmology at Collom & Carney Clinic, Dr. Hubbell works with a team that provides a full spectrum of consultative ophthalmologic services. This includes the medical and surgical management of corneal and anterior segment conditions, pediatric and strabismus conditions, vitreous and retinal disorders, uveitis and glaucoma services, cataracts, intraocular lens implants, corneal transplantation, and refractive surgery. The clinic also offers specialized services such as laser surgery, retinal detachment repair, strabismus corrections, reconstructive surgery, and radial keratotomy.

In addition to routine and diabetic eye exams, the Eye Institute at Collom & Carney Clinic offers a wide range of specialized services, including medical and surgical management of corneal and anterior segment conditions, pediatric and strabismus conditions, vitreous and retinal disorders, uveitis and glaucoma services, cataracts, and intraocular lens implants. The institute also provides specialized treatments such as Botox for cosmetic and medical purposes, as well as eyelid lesion evaluation and management.
