After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Emory University in 1977, Dr. Rousso enrolled into Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and obtained his medical degree in 1981. Following a one-year general surgery internship at the Medical University of South Carolina (1982), Dr. Rousso completed an otolaryngology residency at Emory University, Residency School of Medicine (1986).
He is triple board-certified by the American Board of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery, American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and American Board of Hair Restoration. Furthermore, Dr. Rousso is one of the founding members of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) where he also served as President.
