He pursued his surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center from 2010 to 2017, followed by a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2017 to 2019.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board certified in both general surgery and pediatric surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
Alongside his status as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Watson is an active member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association.
