She has worked in behavioral health, helping couples and families for the past decade. She has experience working with various populations and socioeconomic statuses in community-based behavioral health care/dependence treatment organizations. Lisa Abrotsky has a B.S. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She has extensive education, training, and experience in the field of dependence. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified Parenting Instructor and a Batterers Intervention Facilitator with the state of Florida. As a family therapist, she is able to integrate her knowledge of education and mental health issues to help families’ problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and create lasting change for a better tomorrow. She uses a holistic approach where healing of the mind, body, and spirit is a priority for successful treatment.
