A prominent neurologist, Dr. Amiola showcases her exceptional skills at Riverside Neurology Specialists in Newport News, Virginia. Additionally, she is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). 

With a deep-rooted passion for understanding the complexities of the human brain and its impact on the body, she specializes in treating patients with neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, and strokes. Her unwavering commitment to patient care shines through as she prioritizes keeping patients and their families well-informed while delivering compassionate treatment at every phase of care.

Hailing from Nigeria, Dr. Amiola has journeyed through Louisiana, New York, Maryland, and currently resides in Virginia, where she has found her professional calling. Her medical journey commenced with rigorous training in medicine and surgery at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, followed by an internship in internal medicine at Brookdale University Hospital. She further honed her skills through a neurology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine before pursuing specialized fellowship training in neurophysiology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine.

An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Fluent in English and Yoruba, with proficiency in basic Spanish and French, she values effective communication with her diverse patient base. Embracing the scenic beauty and warm communities of Virginia, she finds solace in exploring the state’s landscape in her leisure time. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Amiola enjoys immersing herself in travel adventures, delving into novels, and cherishing moments.
