Get to know Academic Hospitalist Dr. Faisal Rahim, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas.
Dr. Rahim is an academic hospitalist with Texas Health Physicians Group. Namely, he is an attending at Texas Health Denton, Texas Health Fort Worth, and Texas Health Specialty Hospital.
While working here, he is serving on the Quality Committee, which involves performance improvement and medical staff peer review at Texas Health Fort Worth. He is also a teaching assistant for the internal medicine residency service.
With a broad educational background, Dr. Rahim graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics in 2010, and his Master of Science in Physiology degree from Georgetown University in 2011. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in 2016, after which he performed his residency at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine from 2016 until 2019.
Board-certified in internal medicine, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
