Dr. Owens, a highly trained diagnostic radiologist, works within the Department of Regional Radiology at Euclid Hospital.
Located on 17 acres along the Lake Erie shoreline, Euclid Hospital offers a complete continuum of care: emergency services, inpatient acute care, and outpatient services. A part of Cleveland Clinic, the hospital has a strong history of caring for the local community, by keeping people well, treating and managing acute illness and long-term conditions, and improving overall health of the community.
Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Owens completed her undergraduate studies at Carleton College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Art History in 2007. She then pursued medical education at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2015.
Following this, Dr. Owens underwent an internship at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in 2016 for Internal Medicine Preliminary Year. Subsequently, she continued her internship at St. Vincent Hospital-Cleveland (Ohio).
In 2020, Dr. Owens completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Case Western Reserve MetroHealth Medical Center, as well as an additional residency in radiology at MetroHealth Medical Center, both located in Cleveland, Ohio.
Finally, in 2021, she participated in a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
A leader in her field, Dr. Owens is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR). The AOBR is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
