Dr. Jesse Wolfe completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota while competing in collegiate athletics with the Bethel University Royals football program in 2012. He furthered his education at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, where he received his doctorate degree. Dr. Wolfe continued his training in St. Louis, where he completed his residency training with SSM Health DePaul Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgery Program and a traveling orthopedic fellowship with the German Society of Foot and Ankle Surgery in 2019. Dr. Wolfe joins Mercy Orthopedics following his experience as a member of a surgically active orthopedic practice in Iowa for the past three years.
During his medical, residency training, and active practice, Dr. Wolfe has published numerous articles and book chapters on advanced foot and ankle surgical techniques and has continued to remain active in advancing the field of foot and ankle surgery. He has served as an editor for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery Scientific Literature Reviews and on the board of the Heartland Foot and Ankle Scientific Conference Committee as well as the Missouri Podiatric Medial Association Scientific Committee and is an active Board Member for the State of Missouri. His training and leadership in the field were recently recognized with the honorable distinction of Top Doctor and Top Professional by Marquis Who’s Who publication in 2022. Dr. Wolfe has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal and was selected as the cover feature with Millenium Magazine for 2023. In addition, Dr. Wolfe enjoys his teaching roles as adjunct faculty for Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and with the University of Texas San Antonio.
Dr. Wolfe is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and an active fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His interests include Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Trauma, Total Ankle Replacement, and Advanced Foot and Ankle Reconstruction. Dr. Wolfe sees patients at the Mercy Orthopedic Clinic in Troy, MO and at the Mercy Clinic Zumbehl location. Dr. Wolfe has privileges at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, Mercy South, and Mercy Hospital Lincoln.
