Hello, I'm Mary Kofigah, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric and mental health care. With over a decade of experience in nursing, I have a passion for helping individuals achieve better mental health and overall well-being. I completed my advanced training in Psychiatric-Mental Health at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and I am board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
My expertise lies in diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. I provide compassionate care for conditions like depression, anxiety, anorexia, and more. I am skilled in prescribing medications and designing individualized treatment plans to support my patients' journey to better health.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and have taught future nurses as a clinical instructor. I believe in a holistic approach and work tirelessly to advocate for my patients’ needs.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:
I provide compassionate, non-judgmental, and patient centered care to individual, and families. I empower the individual to take control of their mental health through active listening, and empathetic understanding. I collaborate treatment planning to their unique needs. I use evidence-based practice, and trauma informed care approach. I also use medication treatment, when necessary, with careful monitoring, and adjustment. My goal is to foster a safe, supportive environment, where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns, and working together for overall well-being.
