About

About me
Hello! I'm Tracee Lucas, a devoted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. My heart is now fully dedicated to improving your mental health.

In my recent roles, I’ve conducted thorough psychiatric exams, offered education and counseling, and made personalized decisions about medication management for individuals aged 10 to 60. I’ve also been there to manage emergencies, making sure you get the immediate support you need on your journey to mental wellness.

I'm honored to have been recognized for my dedication to excellence with awards like Employee of the Year and the Legacy Nursing Excellence Award. As an active member of several professional nursing organizations, I continually stay informed about the best practices and standards of care to provide you with the highest level of service.

Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering with various organizations, spending time outdoors, and getting lost in a good book.

I'm here to walk alongside you, providing the expert care and heartfelt support you need for your mental and physical well-being.

Treatment philosophy
I treat patients by listening to their concerns and needs without judgement. I believe that the patient's experience supersedes book knowledge and any research findings.  We work together on a treatment plan that the patient is comfortable with. I like to treat the patient as a whole person. We look at every aspect of their life both mental and physical.  I want to provide the patient with hope, empathy, honesty and compassion in their mental health journey.
