Dr. Sarah Thomas is a Florida and Georgia licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Physician with the highest level of board certification granted by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Thomas is also certified in injection therapy, Shonihari-Pediatric Acupuncture, advanced facial acupuncture, facial cupping and gua sha, clean needle technique, micro needling, and facial rejuvenation.

 

After earning an Associate of Arts and Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Florida she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture from Dragon Rises College in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Thomas then matriculated to the prestigious Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, California where she earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine graduating summa cum laude. 

 

Dr. Thomas has conducted research, authored studies and written grant proposals on invasive ductal carcinoma using both western and eastern medicine to improve patient outcomes, acupuncture and post-surgical recovery after ACL reconstruction, and the use of mindfulness meditation techniques to help teens cope with stress and depression to lower suicide rates in at risk youth groups.

 

Dr. Thomas is focused on all aspects of health and wellness, pain syndromes, chronic diseases, autoimmune disease treatment, disease prevention, and facial rejuvenation.
