I am Sylvia Ogbogu-Nwankwo, NP, a board-certified nurse practitioner practicing at Angel Health Care Services PC in Allen, Texas. My licensure extends across Texas, New Mexico, Michigan, California, Washington DC, Florida, and New York.

With over 15 years of nursing experience, including roles as a Director of Nursing and a family nurse practitioner, I go beyond addressing the primary care needs of families, encompassing children, teenagers, and adults at all life stages.

My academic background includes a family nurse practitioner credential and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Currently pursuing my psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge to better serve my patients.

My diverse career has exposed me to various healthcare settings, allowing me to provide comprehensive care for individuals and families in hospitals, clinics, and private practices.

My patient-centered approach is characterized by compassionate healthcare. I prioritize listening to my patients, conducting thorough assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans. I believe in empowering patients through education, ensuring they are well-informed and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I excel in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses. Emphasizing preventive care, I advocate for regular check-ups, immunizations, and screenings to maintain optimal health.
