Dr. DeTorres' passion for helping patients overcome hearing-related issues and his dedication to advancing the field of neurotology make him a sought-after expert in his field. With an impressive educational background, Dr. DeTorres received his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, followed by residency training at Georgetown University Hospital, and a fellowship at the University of Utah. 

Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, which is a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.

Holding membership status, Dr. DeTorres is an active member of several prestigious professional affiliations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), the American Neurotology Society (ANS), and the American Medical Association (AMA). His commitment to the field is further demonstrated by his areas of expertise, which include but are not limited to hearing loss, chronic ear disease, Eustachian tube dysfunction, cochlear implants, and otosclerosis surgery.
