A 2014 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Palmer went on to perform his internship in surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. Subsequently, he served his residency in radiology at the University of South Alabama in 2019, and his fellowship in interventional radiology at Vanderbilt University in 2020.
Board eligible in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Palmer is in the process of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
