As a Colorado native, Dr. Dethloff attended Metropolitan State University, earning degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Later, he completed a Master of Arts degree in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis in Human Anatomy at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Then finally, he achieved his childhood dream of becoming a dentist by earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Colorado School of Dental Medicine Anschutz Medical Campus.
To provide the highest quality of evidence-based dentistry practices for his patients, Dr. Dethloff believes in expanding his dental artistry, skills, and techniques by actively attending continuing education courses.
Among his professional dental affiliations, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society.

Happily married, Dr. Dethloff and his wife, Mandy, Dr D’s lead EDDA, enjoy living in Castle Rock with their daughter, Kallie. They enjoy spending as much time as possible with family and are avid movie goers. As a family, they enjoy golfing, playing tennis, and going on road trips.
