As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Maria has always had a strong interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He works at Bright Dents of Dartmouth in Massachusetts, where he believes that the community plays a critical part to his success as a dentist.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Dr. Maria received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in 2009. He then relocated to the United States, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2019. 

Throughout the years, he has taken continuing education courses in Invisalign®, cosmetic dentistry, implants, sedation dentistry, and full-mouth restorations.

Among his professional dental affiliations, Dr. Maria is an active member of the South Shore Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

In his free time, Dr. Maria enjoys traveling, reading, and sports, especially baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. He currently resides in Foxborough and looks forward to finding more ways to serve his community. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
