​Dedicated to exceptional skin care, Dr. Weinkle is a board certified and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon & fellowship trained cosmetic dermatologist. She works alongside her mother, Dr. Susan H. Weinkle, MD, in her advanced dermatology practice, Weinkle Dermatology, situated in the scenic locale of Bradenton, Florida.

As the only mother-daughter Mohs surgeons practicing together in the country, Weinkle Dermatology offers a unique blend of experience and innovation to optimize care in a warm and caring environment. The practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and is equipped with state-of-the-art devices such as Fraxel®, VBeam®, and Sofwave™ to ensure cutting-edge treatments.

With the invaluable support of nurse practitioner Lin Hall, APRN, the highly qualified team at Weinkle Dermatology is dedicated to tailoring treatments to meet each client’s individual needs. They incorporate the latest advancements in dermatology treatments and technologies to achieve natural and stunning results without resorting to surgical procedures.

With an impressive educational journey, Dr. Weinkle graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She further pursued her passion for dermatology at the University of South Florida and earned her Medical Degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.

Continuing her training, Dr. Weinkle completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in dermatology at the University of South Florida. Driven by her unwavering pursuit of excellence, she embarked on fellowships in both Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology at the University of California, Davis, further solidifying her expertise in these specialized fields.

Demonstrating her ongoing commitment to the highest standards of care and expertise in the field of Mohs surgery, Dr. Weinkle proudly maintains her status as an Associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Furthermore, she holds the esteemed title of Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, the largest organ of the body–a specialty with medical, surgical, and cosmetic aspects. A dermatologist is a specialist physician who manages diseases of the skin, hair, and nails due to both internal and external causes and is trained to address cosmetic concerns involving the skin. The practice of dermatology includes diagnosis and management of a variety of skin disorders, rashes, birthmarks, skin cancer screening and treatment, skin infections, cutaneous surgery, and the use of injectables and lasers for skin rejuvenation.  

Dr. Weinkle’s contributions to dermatology extend to numerous peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, where she has authored insightful publications. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in resident education and advances clinical research in the field, continually pushing the boundaries of knowledge and innovation.

Born and raised in Bradenton, Dr. Weinkle has a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and unique charms of her hometown. She finds great joy in her married life and shares her happiness with her husband, Luben Mitevski, along with their beloved son, Luka.
