With an impressive educational journey, Dr. Weinkle graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She further pursued her passion for dermatology at the University of South Florida and earned her Medical Degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.

Continuing her training, Dr. Weinkle completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in dermatology at the University of South Florida. Driven by her unwavering pursuit of excellence, she embarked on fellowships in both Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology at the University of California, Davis, further solidifying her expertise in these specialized fields.

Demonstrating her ongoing commitment to the highest standards of care and expertise in the field of Mohs surgery, Dr. Weinkle proudly maintains her status as an Associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Furthermore, she holds the esteemed title of Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, the largest organ of the body–a specialty with medical, surgical, and cosmetic aspects. A dermatologist is a specialist physician who manages diseases of the skin, hair, and nails due to both internal and external causes and is trained to address cosmetic concerns involving the skin.
