Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, he went to King Abdulaziz University for medical school in his hometown Jeddah, overlooking the red sea on the west coast of the country. After earning his medical degree, he relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the eastern coast of Canada, where he completed his residency in otolaryngology at Dalhousie University. Finally, he completed his fellowship in head and neck microvascular surgery with Henry Ford Health.
Achieving fellowship status, Dr. Alamoudi is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.
