Upon graduating with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University, Dr. Roberts went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
Furthering her training, she performed her General Practice Residency at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee.
Advancing her efforts in the field of dentistry, Dr. Roberts remains an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Serving as the Co-Founder of LSUSD Chapter of Student National Dental Association, Dr. Roberts has been the recipient of the LSU Black Scholars Award and the LSUSD James L. Rodriguez Rodgers and Betty Ann Rodgers Scholarship.
Her philanthropic endeavors have included Public School Reading Tutor; Big Buddy; LSUSD Making Impressions Committee Chair; Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures Mobile Dental Van; MMC Oral Health Day; Mission of Mercy; Give Kids A Smile; and Ozanam Inn Dental Clinic.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Roberts moved to Denver to enjoy all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer. Outside of practicing dentistry, she enjoys going to concerts, hiking, skiing, cheering for the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints, spending time with friends and family, and is an avid reader.
With a passion for travel, her favorite destination to date is Mykonos, Greece.
