Dr. Yao, a distinguished dermatopathology specialist based in New York City, is celebrated for his exceptional skills and extensive experience in the medical domain. With over 12 years of practice, he has established himself as a reputable figure in dermatopathology, catering to a diverse range of patients with professionalism and compassion.

In regards to his educational background, he obtained his medical degree from the prestigious City University of New York Medical School in 2010. His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue further education, including residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and fellowships in dermatology and dermatopathology at the University of California Irvine and Mount Sinai School of Medicine, respectively. Thereafter, he attained board certification through the American Board of Pathology and Dermatology in dermatopathology and anatomical pathology.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Yao is an active member of various professional organizations, including the American Society of Dermatopathology, the International Society of Dermatopathology, the American Alliance of Museums, and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
