Get to know Dentist Dr. Chuck Skinner, who serves patients in Colorado.
Dr. Skinner, a skilled dentist, works alongside Dr. Brian Cudleigh at their private dental practice, Louisville Dental Associates in Louisville, Colorado. Their goal is to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care to patients in a gentle, efficient, and courteous manner.
Passionate about his profession, Dr. Skinner enjoys the opportunity that dentistry gives him to touch people’s lives in a totally different way. “Seeing people smile is one of my favorite things that give me a boost in my own life, and makes my profession worthwhile.” he stated.
In his current capacity, he can also be working alongside Dr. Scott Ryan, DDS, at Glow Comprehensive Dentistry in Castle Rock, Colorado. “At Glow, our mission is to deliver the highest level of dental care to our patients in a stress-free and anxiety-free environment. We treat each patient with compassion and integrity and are committed to listening to our patients and building relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Unlike other dental practices that take a universal approach to patient care, we understand that each patient has his or her own unique dental care needs.” as stated on their website.
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati in 1991, Dr. Skinner went on to complete a mission in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where he became fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He enjoyed living there very much and learned to embrace and love the people as well as their culture. Upon returning to the United States, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry in 2008.
In order to stay up to date in his field, he remains a member of several professional dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Society, and the Boulder Dental Society.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Happily married, Dr. Skinner and his wife have three children. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family. Passionate about music, he also enjoys playing the violin, which he has played since the age of 3, as well as participating in sports and being outdoors.
