A skilled obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Cheng is affiliated with Huntington Obstetrics & Gynecology in Pasadena, California. Her journey in the field of medicine has been marked by excellence, and her dedication to establishing lifelong, trusting relationships with her patients is reflected in the fact that the majority of her pregnant patients choose to continue their care with her.

A graduate of the prestigious Yale School of Medicine, she further honed her skills during her residency at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Here, she trained under the guidance of multi-disciplinary leaders in various areas, including midwifery, high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and complex family planning.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Before joining Huntington Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Cheng was an attending physician with UCLA Health. Prior to her career in medicine, she worked at Deloitte Consulting and was a four-year All-Conference Track and Field athlete at Pomona College.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
