Born and raised in Nigeria, he graduated with his medical degree from the University of Ilorin Faculty of Health Sciences in 2004. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in 2016, before completing two consecutive fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Remaining up to date in his field, Dr. Adedayo is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Heart Association, and the American College of Cardiology.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
