Get to know Psychologist Dr. Amy Kupper, who serves patients in Issaquah, Washington.

Dr. Kupper is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in a spectrum of psychological challenges, from stress and depression to chronic pain and illness adjustment.Drawing upon evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, pain reprocessing therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based stress reduction, she tailors interventions to suit each individual’s unique needs and goals.

In regards to her educational background, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University before obtaining her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Her commitment to excellence led her to prestigious clinical training opportunities, including a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, where she refined her expertise in addressing complex psychological issues.

Armed with specialized certifications as a Certified Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) Clinician and a Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Clinician, Dr. Kupper is equipped to provide holistic care that encompasses both psychological and physical well-being.

Among her professional affiliations, she is an active member of various professional organizations, such as the American Psychological Association, the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM), and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists (NRHS).
