Ansuya Deosaran, M.D. is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist with experience in Premium Laser and Refractive Cataract Surgery, Ocular Surface Disease, and medical and surgical Corneal Diseases. She also practices comprehensive ophthalmology and manages glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. Dr. Deosaran completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Florida and earned her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed a medical internship at the University of Florida Shands Hospital - Jacksonville followed by a residency training in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University - Health Science Center in New, Orleans. Dr. Deosaran completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes Jewish Hospital. As a fellow, she trained residents in cataract surgery at the John Cochran Veterans Affairs Hospital. 

She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Women in Ophthalmology.  

Dr. Deosaran is a South Florida native and grew up in Coral Springs, FL. As a teen, Dr. Deosaran had a corneal infection which inspired her to become a Cornea specialist and help patients regain their vision. Dr. Deosaran enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband. She is an avid Peloton rider and enjoys staying active. Finally, she loves being back in South Florida, not only for the warm weather and delicious food but also for the wonderful community of people here.
