Miami Miami FL, 33165About
My name is Shaunette Phillips, and I'm a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in both adult and pediatric emergency care. Since 2019, I've been committed to providing exceptional primary care to my patients.
In my role, I offer comprehensive assessments, manage a variety of minor emergencies, and provide follow-up care to ensure the best outcomes. I’m experienced in conducting school and work physicals, treating workplace injuries, and caring for pediatric and adolescent patients through all their developmental stages.
I also specialize in women’s health, including pregnancy care and treating sexually transmitted diseases. My background in cardiology ensures that I can effectively assess and treat heart-related conditions, interpret electrocardiograms, and perform detailed cardiovascular evaluations.
Throughout my career, I’ve prioritized patient education and quality care. From my early days working in emergency rooms to my current focus on primary care, I've been committed to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of my patients.
When you visit my practice, you can expect compassionate, personalized care tailored to your unique needs. I look forward to being a part of your healthcare journey.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:
As a healthcare provider, my philosophy centers on compassionate, patient-centered care. I believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. By actively listening and responding without judgment, I create a safe space for open communication. My focus spans all ages, addressing both physical and mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, and chronic diseases. I aim to empower patients through education and preventive care, guiding them towards better health. Each patient is unique, and I strive to understand their individual journeys, ensuring they feel valued and supported every step of the way. Together, we can achieve holistic well-being.
