A dedicated Internist, Dr. Steinmetz is interested in medically complex cases, hospital medicine, patient safety and advocacy, medical education and teaching residents. 

Among her many roles, she is the Medical Director of Richboro Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, the Medical Director of Vitality Hospice And Palliative Care, and an Associate Physician at First Docs. She is also affiliated with St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, NJ.

A native New Yorker, Dr. Steinmetz graduated Magna Cum Laude from Union College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Before starting medical school, she worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Research Study Coordinator for multiple clinical trials in their Thoracic Oncology and Immunotherapies divisions. 

Thereafter, she attended medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary Medical Center in 2021 as a member of their inaugural residency class.

Subsequent to her education, Dr. Steinmetz attained board certification in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
