Originally from rural Minnesota, Dr. Holen completed his undergraduate studies in the vibrant city of New York before earning his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. His commitment to public health and underserved medicine was further solidified during his residency at The George Washington University Hospital, where he honed his skills in patient care and advocacy for vulnerable communities.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Holen is an avid traveler and a culinary enthusiast, known for his love of adventurous foods. He believes that exploring different cultures and cuisines enriches his life and enhances his ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
