Dr Ahmed Ibrahim is a Double Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon with years of experience in aesthetic medicine, who serves as the Medical Director for AR Aesthetics. He specializes in aesthetics of the face and neck, including injectables, laser treatments, and high-end office-based cosmetic surgery. He also performs skin cancer removal and reconstruction, as well as outpatient burn care.
Following graduation from medical school with honors in Egypt at Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine, Dr Ibrahim completed a four-year Research Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the distinguished Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. During this time, he also obtained his PhD through Erasmus University Rotterdam, an institution ranked in the top 3% of best universities in the world. He subsequently completed a surgical internship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, received Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and completed a prestigious subspecialty fellowship in Burn Surgery and Wound Care at Nassau University Medical Center under the supervision of the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, the oldest and largest private and academic plastic surgery practice in the United States. He furthered his education with an additional fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Florida.
To date Dr Ibrahim has contributed to over 80 publications in the top peer-reviewed plastic surgery and scientific journals. In addition, he has written book chapters, and given oral and poster presentations at the leading plastic surgery conferences. Currently, he is a reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the premier journal in the field. Furthermore, owing to his passion for teaching, and commitment to educating the next generation of doctors, he serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr Ibrahim is passionate about delivering personalized care that revolves around the patient's needs. He prioritizes attentive listening to understand individual concerns and ensures comprehensive education on treatment choices aimed at helping patients achieve their desired look and feel.
