Angela Kiker is a nationally certified counselor, licensed professional counselor (VA) and licensed mental health counselor (FL). She earned her BS from University of Maryland (UMCP), her master’s in counseling psychology from Bowie State University, and her post master’s in counseling psychology from George Washington University.  She has provided outpatient mental health services for all ages, in many settings. She has experience in Residential, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. She has worked under a US grant for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). She previously lived overseas supporting the mental health needs for military and civilian personnel in transition, and taught university psychology and social sciences courses as an adjunct faculty. Angie is a person-centered therapist with experience in many counseling modalities, for which she has had extensive training. She now works virtually with adults in a comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program, and another online platform, where she helps clients with anxiety, depression and many other mental health needs.
