Amanda Shorter grew up near Lonsdale, Minnesota playing sports and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. She graduated from New Prague High School, then studied at the University of Minnesota in Duluth where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Upon graduation she attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington where she achieved her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. 

 

While at Northwestern, she became involved with competitive weight lifting. This sparked her interest not only in traditional adjustments, but working with muscles as well. She is experienced with Active Release Technique (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft tissue Mobilization, and Kinesiology taping. She also has experience pertaining to extremity adjustment techniques along with Activator technique. She is also certified in Webster Technique.

 

She works with patients ranging from newborn to the young at heart and is accepting new patients at this time.
