Upon finishing his residency, he and his family moved to Birmingham so that he could complete an AO spine surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Falling in love with the Southeast, he and his family chose to put down roots and raise their family in Birmingham. 

The doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS). The AOBOS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
