As a highly qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), I have gained years of valuable experience in psychiatric nursing. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and a specialized Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My passion lies in offering caring, personalized, and collaborative support to patients of all ages. I believe in creating a supportive partnership, as each person’s journey is unique and important. With extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, I help each individual in my practice manage a wide range of mental health issues. I use proven methods to combine therapy and medication management to best meet your individual needs. My commitment to high-quality care focuses on effective communication, empathy, patient education, safety, and expertise. With my dedication, you can feel confident in receiving safe and personalized mental health care at Stonehaven Psych Care.
 
Treatment philosophy
I believe that each individual is unique and deserves to be treated as such. My goal is to support you in taking the time to truly understand yourself, your strengths and challenges so that you can make informed decisions about the direction of your life. I am interested in utilizing various methods (ranging from mindfulness practices to medication management) to better understand what’s going on with your body and mind so that we can come up with some strategies that work for you. I want to help my patients find a way of being in a world based on self-compassion and kindness.
 
Practice description
At Stonehaven Psych Care, we specialize in providing personalized and comprehensive mental health services for patients ranging from 12-70 years old. Our philosophy focuses on the utilization of psychotherapy and psychopharmacotherapeutics to manage and treat a variety of psychiatric conditions. We collaborate with each patient to meet their specific needs and create evidence-based practice treatment plans. We offer two forms of appointments so that you can find the right type of interaction that works for you, whether it be from the comfort of you home through telehealth or a more personal approach via in-person appointments.
