She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, after which she completed her internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. She is board-certified in pediatrics.
On a more personal note, Dr. Bruckner is married to Justin Oskey, who also has a career in a medical field, teaching doctors in the use of sophisticated neurosurgical equipment specializing in the spine. They are hoping to raise a family of their own in the near future. Dr. Bruckner has a passion for traveling and most recently worked in a pediatric hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, discovering a new appreciation for international medicine. She played high level soccer and tennis growing up, so she has an affinity for athletes of all ages and sports. Dr. Bruckner values her personal relationships and that is how she approaches her interactions with children and their families every day in her practice.
