Born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, she pursued her academic journey at Northern Arizona University, where she obtained degrees in Biology (BS) and Music Performance (BM). She furthered her education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, where she completed her medical school training, followed by rigorous diagnostic radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship programs at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson.
